Susan wins first place blue ribbon award at Professional Photographers competition

I just came back from a wonderful convention put on by Professional Photographers of Mass. with lots of new ideas and inspirations for this upcoming season! I also entered the print competition and came home with one blue ribbon and three red ones! The two highest scoring prints of mine were of two little red sox fans that posed with an attitude all their own! The other prize winning portrait was one I took during my pet promotion. The little girl came in with her grandfather to be photographed with his beloved St. Bernard, but when I saw her beautiful little face, I decided to photograph her alone also! So glad I did!

Introducing Miss Savannah Rose of Plymouth,Ma.

After completing her mom's maternity session just a mere three weeks ago, we were surprised to get a call so soon to photograph the debut of Savannah Rose, who arrived a bit earlier than expected!  We love that peaceful, sleepy look for newborn sessions, so we waited a while for her to finally fall asleep. Once she did, we captured these images, along with ones of her mom and her, and a three generation image of mom, grandmom ( who came from Georgia) and the baby.   __Susan

Help pets in Need this Holiday Season!

Please help us raise funds for Fairy DogParents.org. This is an organization that helps people that have fallen on hard times that can no longer afford food and medical expenses for their beloved pets. All those pet lovers out there that can help us raise money should go to our furryfaceportraits website and vote for your favorite pet portrait. You can vote as many times as you like for only $1 per vote (consider at least a $5 donation). Visit www.furryfaceportraits.com/benefit today. Contest ends December 31. So far we have raised over $500, but more is needed as there are so many animals in need this time of year.

The Doughty family session

The Doughty family are one of my favorite clients to work with!  We photographed the newest member of the family, Alexis, then added her brother and sister for a group shot in our antique baby carriage.
I couldn't resist also including their beautiful Mom in a window light image.

This past week was full of wonderful baby shoots, of which I have posted some of my favorites here. The little boy on the beach is Cole, who I have been photographing since he was a little bump in his mom's belly. It's fun to see how fast they grow and change! Our little ballerina is the newest sister of two other little girls I have loved photographing over the years. One image I took of her older sister Natalie received a national award, so  I'm hoping I'll have the same luck with this shoot! We took all three girls outside in our gazebo for their newest family portrait!
