Help pets in Need this Holiday Season!

Please help us raise funds for Fairy DogParents.org. This is an organization that helps people that have fallen on hard times that can no longer afford food and medical expenses for their beloved pets. All those pet lovers out there that can help us raise money should go to our furryfaceportraits website and vote for your favorite pet portrait. You can vote as many times as you like for only $1 per vote (consider at least a $5 donation). Visit www.furryfaceportraits.com/benefit today. Contest ends December 31. So far we have raised over $500, but more is needed as there are so many animals in need this time of year.

The Doughty family session

The Doughty family are one of my favorite clients to work with!  We photographed the newest member of the family, Alexis, then added her brother and sister for a group shot in our antique baby carriage.
I couldn't resist also including their beautiful Mom in a window light image.

This past week was full of wonderful baby shoots, of which I have posted some of my favorites here. The little boy on the beach is Cole, who I have been photographing since he was a little bump in his mom's belly. It's fun to see how fast they grow and change! Our little ballerina is the newest sister of two other little girls I have loved photographing over the years. One image I took of her older sister Natalie received a national award, so  I'm hoping I'll have the same luck with this shoot! We took all three girls outside in our gazebo for their newest family portrait!

Kaylee and Victoria's First Communion Portraits

I've been photographing cousins Kaylee and Victoria since they were both infants. Having photographed their parent's wedding, I have had the pleasure of becoming their family photographer. Both girls are gorgeous in their own individual way, and  were great to work with. One of the advantages of  photographing subjects  since they were babies, is that they seem to feel at home here and are very comfortable in front of my camera. Even though it was early April, we had a beautiful day, and captured both indoor and outdoor images.

Nicole and Jim's maternity portrait session

We had a great time with Nicole and her husband Jim.  This is their first baby, and they are so excited to meet their little girl !

Emily's Many Hats!

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of photographing Ms. Emily D. of Whitman,Ma. Emily is a total ham in front of the camera, and has a great spirit that comes through in the images. I have enjoyed a long history with Emily's family, starting with her mother's senior high school portraits! Followed by her engagement, wedding, family then finally baby portraits! I am lucky to have so many clients that have stayed with me for decades so I can record their family's history as it changes and grows. As you can see we have Emily wearing a variety of hats and headbands. I just found a well known designer that makes these, and bought a cartonful of them for my subjects to use! As you can see, they come in all sizes, even puppy size!!
